NRS Group Ltd have been taking a number of steps to improve their local environment and encourage wildlife around their site.
One of the eco-system’s most important insects is the bee and NRS have built a bee hive on their site helping pollinate wild flowers and, in turn, encouraging other insects and birds.
To attract even more wildlife, when part of the site has been quarried, it is filled in and converted into a lake, complete with a fountain and reeds. By the lake are chickens and ducks each with their own houses offering a relaxing ‘green space’ for staff to unwind.
NRS continue to develop all their sites with the environment front of mind.
