The role entails:

· Undertaking daily checks and basic maintenance

· Complying with site rules, Health and Safety regulations, NRS H&S policies and follow safe systems of work

The successful candidate:
· Experience as a crusher and screener operative
· Experience driving an excavator is essential to the role

The role entails:
• To support the wash plant supervisor in their duties of operating and controlling the production of sand and gravel
• Carry out pre-start checks to ensure that it is safe to operate
• Reduce contamination through effective management
• Carry out regular maintenance including visual inspections and greasing as per maintenance schedule
• Minimise waste
• Report damage or defects to the plant supervisor / line manager
• Produce various finished materials to company and regulatory specifications
• Operate the plant in a controlled, safe and cost-effective manner
• Work and operate the plant within the quarry regulations 1999 and all other health and safety legislation
• Flexibility for working hours and willingness to work long hours when required to and at weekends
• Have a sound appreciation of health and safety, goof housekeeping and environmental regulations.

The successful candidate:
• Full UK driving licence
• Team Player
• Be able to carry out instructions in a timely manner as given by the wash plant supervisor / line manager
• Ability to plan, organise and prioritise the workload for maintenance and repairs
• Experience of operating various mobile plant machines

The role entails:
· General duties around the quarry and in the main yard
· Grass cutting
· Emptying bins.
· Keeping the main yard tidy
· Keeping the workshop tidy
· Assessing stocks of Oil and Ad blue
. Operating Telehandler (training can be provided)
· Cleaning windows
· Cleaning spillages from around the processing plant
· Maintaining the weighbridge deck and keeping it free from spillage
· Litter picking
· Fence and stone wall maintenance
· Ad hoc duties

The successful candidate:
· Ability to work on own initiative and take direction from the quarry management
· Be able to prioritise workload to ensure all work is completed in a timely manner that suits the quarry operations
· Hardworking and proactive in their approach to the task to ensure quarry operations continue smoothly
· Operations certification for telescopic handler operations or forklift truck operations is desirable
· Good manual handling skills
· Knowledge of following written risk assessments and method statements is desirable
· Previous quarry experience would be an advantage
· Full UK driving licence is required for this role

Product Logistics Operative

Rate of pay: £12.00 per hour.
45 hours per week (7.00 am-4.30pm)

The role entails:
· Working with construction/ demolition waste and inert soils within a recycling/ tipping facility.
· Checking and making sure correct information is on the duty of care tickets.
· Liaising with site analysis team and site managers.
· Traffic control – checking and directing loads to tip or recycled areas.
· General ad hoc admin duties to including inputting tickers onto bespoke computer systems when needed.

The successful candidate:
· Experience working with inert waste and soil processing is essential to this role.

The Role
The Finance function has already seen considerable change. There is a need to stabilise the existing activities and review systems and processes to ensure they meet the needs of the growing business.
The Group is seeking a finance professional to support the leadership team in stabilising and improving the processes, mentoring the junior members of the team and upgrading the management information being provided to the operational management and the investors.
This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a change process within a dynamic and growing business.

The Person
The person should be a trained accountant with experience of:
• Production of monthly management accounts
• Providing insightful analysis of the figures
• Balance Sheet reconciliations and review – debtors, prepayments, creditors, accruals, fixed assets, VAT and Aggregates Levy returns
• Consolidation of a Group of companies
• Management of a small team
• Interaction across business functions and operations
• Systems implementation and process improvement
• Promoting change in a fast-paced environment
• Construction Industry (preferable)

They will be a team player, prepared to roll their sleeves up as necessary in a small finance function to get the job done whilst laying the foundations for improvement and growth. Must be able to work to tight deadlines with excellent attention to detail.
